Supreme Court rejects plea for staying remaining IPL matches - The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to stop all remaining matches of IPL in view of the spot-fixing scandal.

The SC said entire IPL can’t be banned just because of certain irregularities on the part of a few players. The highest court in India directed BCCI to submit its report within 15 days on the spot-fixing scandal.

Vindoo Dara Singh arrested in IPL Spot Fixing :  Late Dara Singh’s Son, Film and television actor Vindoo Dara Singh has been arrested in Mumbai for his links with cricket bookies, reports the Media. Mumbai crime branch has strong evidence linking Vindoo to bookie Ramesh Vyas. Vindoo Dara Singh was under Mumbai Police surveillance since the arrest of three bookies. (TOI)
